Ange Postecoglou has returned home to Australia during the international break to promote the Sydney Super Cup.
Over the last few days, we have been spoiled with press releases and TV show appearances as the Celtic boss does all he can to promote the tournament that is upcoming in November.
Now I know what you are thinking, this is all we need. Ange’s favourite team will inevitably have him linked with the job but you don’t need to worry because this job is well and truly secure.
In an interview with Studio 10 this morning, host Tristan MacManus was asking the gaffer about the tournament when he said this:
McManus revealed that Postecoglou is a massive Liverpool fan and the Celtic boss jokingly said, “I wouldn’t mind knocking off Everton, that would be nice.”
The Celtic boss has been on top form this last week as he continues to ‘wow’ the Australian media and he is certainly whipping up a storm regarding the tournament.
Celtic is set to face Sydney FC, Western Sydney Wanderers and Everton in November as Postecoglou looks to keep up the match fitness of those Celtic stars that will not be involved in the Qatar World Cup.

Hi Sep, To be honest I thought it was his dad that was the supporter? I know he was a fan of King Kenny so I assumed that was because of the link to Celtic.
