We all know from yesterday’s press conference that Ange Postecoglou has had enough of the transfer speculation surrounding the club in these recent weeks.

With Riley McGree seemingly moving to the EFL with Middlesbrough, todays Celtic news is sombre on the transfer front.

Usually on days like this there is at least four or five speculative pieces about players being linked to the club and I would find myself sifting through what seems credible and what is, basically, a pile of nonsense.

But speaking on the Record Celtic podcast, journalist Mick Gannon, was talking transfers and how he has been impressed at how quickly the club has handled it’s business.

But he also dropped a little teaser that he thinks the club are not finished adding to the squad, “I was gonna say it’s certainly a very un-Celtic way to do business.

“And usually it’s the burning the midnight oil on deadline day.

“Which we’ve experienced a few times.

“I think the manager has been expressing this for months that he needs it done quick.

“You can’t be mucking about through January up to the deadline window closing.

“He wants them in and he’s had a few training sessions as well.

“I think there’s still business to be done.

“I still think he’s light in the middle of the park.”

With just over two weeks left of the transfer window, will Ange still add to his ranks? Gannon thinks he needs to.
