Kris Ajer is aiming to prove himself once again this season coming with the 20-year-old having a decent campaign last year.

The young defender is one I really like and I know a lot of other Bhoys do too.

He’s young and still makes mistakes and can overplay things a bit but I think that he’ll iron that out and become a real Rolls Royce of a defender.

Certainly, he’s one to keep a real eye on and it looks as though he’s ready to go up another gear this season coming:

As quoted by Scotzine, he said:

“I look at it as completely the same as last year. I still have a lot to prove, I only played half a season and need to develop a lot in my game to be a Celtic player.

“So, I’m just looking forward to the challenge and, hopefully, I’ll be involved this year, as well.”

The Verdict

This is certainly exciting to say the least.

When a young player is hungry and determined to keep improving and striving to do better, that’s always a good sign.

Some get overwhelmed by the money and fame but this guy is showing no signs of that happening.

Certainly, we’ve got a top young player here.
