RB Salzburg prospect Hannes Wolf has warned Celtic that his side won’t be phased by a packed out Paradise on Thursday, reminding everyone that they’ve played in big stadiums all over Europe previously.

According to The Daily Record, Wolf is rated as worth £20m and will be one of Salzburg’s big dangers when they come calling in Glasgow this week.

Celtic Park will be absolutely bouncing, with fans planning to greet the team off the bus before building up an atmosphere inside the stadium prior to kick-off.

Wolf though is looking forward to it rather than being intimidated, full of confidence having scored five goals and assisted nine times this season.

As quoted by The Daily Record, the teenager said:

Of course we know about Celtic Park but remember we have played in some very big stadiums across Europe too.

When we played them in Salzburg everyone said we were going to easily win the game, but in the first half in particular, Celtic matched us and played very well indeed.

So we know what to expect in Glasgow. There will be 60,000 fans and we know all about the noise that will be generated.

But if we play the fast football we are capable of we can win. It will be difficult but personally I can’t wait to play in such a game.

Salzburg drew their Austrian Bundesliga match this weekend and that’s all Celtic need on Thursday to progress to the last 32 of the UEFA Europa League after winning on the last matchday away to Rosenborg.

The big win against Kilmarnock was the perfect preparation and fans will be expectant of a result even though our visitors are one of the form teams on the entire continent.

Can we pick up the massive result we need?
