Following all the speculation linking Celtic youngster Lewis Morgan with a switch to the MLS and David Beckham’s Inter Miami side, earlier this evening the club confirmed that the deal had now gone through.
The 23-year-old was given permission by the club three weeks back to discuss the switch, and he heads out of Parkhead today for an undisclosed fee after 31 appearances in the last two seasons.
All the best, @10LewisMorgan! 🍀

Fans won’t take too kindly to Inter Miami calling us a ‘Scottish Championship side’ as they announced the deal, but having signed him from St Mirren in January 2018 for only £300,000, you can only imagine we’ve made a significant profit here on the two capped midfielder.
Given the January transfer window closes tonight, fans will be hoping to see at least another arrival as we look to build on our slim advantage over Steven Gerrard’s Rangers side in the Scottish Premiership, as with the game in hand, everyone will be hoping we can extend the couple of points advantage at the top.
