According to the Express, Celtic could see Callum McGregor leave the club this summer for Leicester City in the English Premier League.
The Foxes have got our former manager in charge, of course, and perhaps it is no surprise to see that he is interested – or apparently so at least – in our players.
25-year-old McGregor is coming on leaps and bounds, too, so perhaps you can see why Rodgers might want to sign him.
Indeed, the report suggests he might be seen as a replacement for James Maddison – if he leaves the club – but could also go there anyway even if the former Norwich man stays put.
Ideally, though, we want to see him staying put for next season and for the coming future as it is more than possible he could be the leading man in the middle of the park for some time to come for us.
Neil Lennon is surely going to fight this one, then.
