This time tomorrow we’ll be under an hour away from seeing Celtic take part in another Champions League qualifier as we head to Romania to face CFR Cluj.

It’ll be a tough game, but with the second leg back at Paradise it is a tie that we should feel we can make a real impact in.

Whilst we wait for tomorrow night, though, plenty of transfer rumours seem to still be doing the rounds and one report concerning Carl Jenkinson may be of interest to us.

Earlier this summer, the Daily Mail’s printed edition – via 67 Hail Hail – suggested that we were interested in a loan deal for the Arsenal full-back.

Nothing really happened with that, though, and it looks as though Nottingham Forest are now looking to bring him to their club before the English deadline for the top two leagues on Thursday evening:

A Celtic summer target, but one that we appear to have let go.

  • Of all the transfer window clickbait nonsense that is spouted every summer/winter, this could well be the most pointless piece of drivel yet. On the eve of a champions league qualifier, a player who Celtic have expressed zero interest in could possibly sign for Forest! FFS George, is this how you make a living?????????????
