Celtic fans are worried about the status of Kieran Tierney after it was announced he will return home from international duty because of injury concerns.
The SFA announced the news last night, stating that he will miss the upcoming encounter against San Marino after previously missing Thursday’s humiliating defeat away to Kazakhstan.

The Scottish Sun have subsequently reported he has picked up a calf knock on top of the hip problems that have hampered his season. They reckon he is now a major doubt for next week’s derby at home to Rangers.
Tierney is vital to the way we play and although he did not look especially fit against Dundee last weekend he would still be a major miss for the visit of Steven Gerrard’s team.
With just Emilio Izaguirre available as natural back-up, who has been battling injury problems of his own, then Neil Lennon has a potential selection headache on the horizon.
Is it time to play Jonny Hayes on the left side of defence again? Will we see a formation change?
Plenty of Celtic supporters are not only worried about the problem but also unhappy that Tierney was flown round the world only to be sent home.
These fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts…
Could today actually get any worse?

Tierney took half way around the world when he wis no fit to play and they play a centre midfielder at left back

See if Tierney needs from now off until August to get fully fit and fine with his hip let him have it. League is already won!

Not apportioning any blame here because I don't know what happened, but Kieran Tierney being sent round the world across six timezones only for him to be sent home again a few days later is baffling. Seemed clear he was not fit on Sunday.
