‘An imposter’, ‘Horrendous’ – Many Celtic fans slam one player after poor home draw

|

Celtic fans were not happy with the performance of Oliver Burke at home to Livingston on Saturday, despite the player only being on the pitch for ten minutes.

The striker, on loan from West Bromwich Albion, missed a golden chance in the final moments of the game meaning that the Hoops had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

It was the kind of chance you’d expect a Celtic striker to bury but he pushed his shot just wide from within the six yard box.

Ultimately the result means little, with an eighth league title in a row almost in the bag, but fans were left desperately disappointed by the performance of Neil Lennon’s men.

Burke started his Celtic career in exciting fashion but has regressed since Lennon took charge, with many now feeling the club should not be looking to extend his loan or sign him permanently in the summer.

These supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his substitute display today…
