Celtic fans were not happy with the performance of Oliver Burke at home to Livingston on Saturday, despite the player only being on the pitch for ten minutes.

The striker, on loan from West Bromwich Albion, missed a golden chance in the final moments of the game meaning that the Hoops had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

It was the kind of chance you’d expect a Celtic striker to bury but he pushed his shot just wide from within the six yard box.

Ultimately the result means little, with an eighth league title in a row almost in the bag, but fans were left desperately disappointed by the performance of Neil Lennon’s men.

Burke started his Celtic career in exciting fashion but has regressed since Lennon took charge, with many now feeling the club should not be looking to extend his loan or sign him permanently in the summer.

These supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his substitute display today…

Should Celtic be making a move for Oliver Burke this summer? Have your say in the comments below…

  • Give the guy a break, he only had 10 minutes on the pitch. What about the rest of the team who failed to score in 90 minutes?

  • It’s down to Lennon he is breaking up Rodgers winning team as he wants to do it his way that is not working i hope he doesn’t get the job the team is not doing it for Lennon
