‘Angeball’. When it works it is fantastic.
Fast. Frantic. Attacking. It’s the type of football every Celtic supporter loves to see.
But when it doesn’t. Boy is it a hard watch. And not hard as in last seasons team being hard to watch.
Hard as in you are waiting for it to kick in and it just doesn’t materialise. It’s like you’re waiting on your takeaway being delivered and it’s running an hour late kind of hard.
The warning signs were there in the 3-0 win against Ross County last week which is a strange thing to say considering the team scored three goals.
But when the football is not fast and flowing you can see the team struggles to break down their opponents.
Now today you could put that down to key players that were missing, but those players were also missing on Thursday night as well yet we still got a tune out of the team.
So what’s the issue? Well you only need to look on twitter and see that that is the very question the Hoops fans are asking.
Ange is trending, but not the way we would want him to.
The Celtic supporters are now questioning the Hoops gaffers philosophy after six away defeat from seven and here is what they are saying:
How long does the free pass last for Ange? 9 points dropped in the league, 6 loses overall and it’s only September. Unacceptable.

Ange ball is an exciting concept but its very nature requires players able to carry it out. It is patently obvious we do not have these men. 3 defeats in our first 6 games is not acceptable and I'd urge Ange to be more pragmatic in his tactics or we may face trouble ahead. Everyone knew how big a job Ange Postecoglou had on his hands, that's on the Board for letting things get so bad however there comes a point when criticism of him is valid, he's lost 6/7 away games already & his tactics & team selections have been the root cause of most of it.

Ange ball myth well gone, he hasn’t won a game we’ve needed to win 😡🍀

Kyogo, Callum & Forrest returning would transform the side. Giakoumakis could be the Plan B we badly need.
Four pts off pace. I’d accept that going into Jan. But room for error is now non existent.
Massive month ahead. Maybe season defining. Perhaps career defining for Ange.

But for all the negativity about the Celtic gaffer, there was some support for him as well. We are only six games into the league season but with half of them lost away from home, there are some fans that still back the Aussie boss:
Jesus Christ seriously shut the fuck up if you think Ange needs to be sacked. Just. Shut. Up.

Seeing people claiming Ange isn’t the right man for the job. Gee me strength fs.

Not turning on Ange here, but that’s 3 defeats in the league so far and that’s worrying and not good enough. The big guy is going to take some criticism here and rightly so. The honeymoon is over, but I still back him. For now.

All those who want Ange out after today know of course that whoever replaced him (who would that be exactly?)would have us winning every game instantly 🙄I'm not happy about the result but really? 🍀💚
