As Ange Postecoglou is now starting to oversee the Parkhead revolution that the Celtic fans expected this transfer window, the capture of one of the Japanese J League’s Kyogo Furuhashi now at Paradise, respected J League journalist, Dan Orlowitz, has linked Celtic with another TWO of Japans rising stars.

Speaking on The Go Radio Football Show, when asked if Postecoglou would go to the Japanese market again to strengthen the squad, Orlowitz dropped two names he believes the Hoops manager should be looking at,  “I think that, Ange will certainly have other players on his list. I don’t know what sort of budget he’s been given to work with. How many other players that wants to bring in from Japan?

“Recently Ado Onaiwu, who plays for his old team Yokohama F Marinos. He talked about being linked to Celtic he said he’s heard the rumours, but right now he’s focused on playing for Yokohama.

“That’s the standard boilerplate answer. So it’s hard to say whether or not there something in the works. I think he would do very well to look at players like Daizen Maeda.

“Another player that he has coached and who has produced some very good results and will be represented in Japan at these Tokyo Olympics.”

It certainly is exciting times ahead for the Celtic fans and there seems to be no doubt in Orlowitz mind that Postecoglou is certain to bring in a few more Japanese diamonds.

The J League is an untapped resource and there with Ange’s knowledge of the Asian market, Celtic fans could be in for a treat this summer.
