Celtic’s season started properly last night as the first Champions League qualifier of the campaign took place out in Bosnia against FK Sarajevo.
These are games that we should be winning over two legs but they can sometimes offer a banana skin or two and so you have to be professional as a side and get the job done – or at least get things set-up to win it in the home leg.
Fortunately, then, we did the job as we beat the men from the Bosnian capital 3-1 with a fine performance.
Of course, there is a lot of work to do before we are ready for the new season but for now to get a result like that before the squad is fully finished is a positive.
Let’s take a look, then, at the best of what was said in relation to the win from the Hoops last night:
Class but expected. #Lennyball
