I guess if there is any time to experiment with the side it is at the moment and that is what Brendan looks to be doing.
Of course, we’ve still got the final on the menu before this season is truly up but with our league title being retained the games in the division make for a good opportunity to shake things up.

The Verdict
A little bold from Brendan, of course, but not the most extreme selection that has ever been made.
Patrick can play as a main man in the middle – though we’d obviously rather him in his usual position – and that’s what the boss decided to do.
Whether or not he plays there against Motherwell remains to be seen.
