This is going to be a great transfer window. I can feel it in my bones.
It’s not even January and already we have two new additions to the squad.
Two additions that will provide excellent competition to two key areas that is.
And it doesn’t seems as if Amge Postecoglou is ready to stop.
With speculation rife that Celtic are looking at another attacking midfielder, Anthony Joseph tweeted tonight that he has confirmed earlier reports that the Hoops are interested in Al Ahly midfielder Mohamed ‘Afsha’ Magdy.
Celtic have been scouring the globe for talent, with scouts monitoring leagues in countries, including South Korea, Iran & UAE this year.
It’s understood a number of targets from the Middle East, Asia & also North Africa have emerged, including South Korea forward Cho Gue-sung.

But it is the follow up tweet that really peaked my interest.
A number of targets have been identified? That sounds like Ange is really looking to turn the screw on our rivals in January.
I genuinely hope a striker is on the cards as we do need to add another body up top.
Kyogo and Giakoumakis are doing a great job domestically but as we all know, we did lack that quality up front so, hopefully, Joseph is right and we are pursuing Cho Gue-sung.
The Korean is in great form in this years World Cup and is ready to face Brazil tomorrow night in the last 16 clash of the tournament.
No doubt more details will emerge in the coming months but like I said at the start, this seems like it is going to be a great transfer window for us.
