Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi hit Glasgow like a storm on Hogmanay.

The months of speculation about the possibility of signing the three of them had the Celtic fans delighted and waiting in anticipation for their arrivals. And who can blame them?

With the great instant success of Kyogo Furuhashi, there is a sense of high expectation that these three will contribute as much, if not more, than Celtic’s new talisman.

We’ve all read the reports and watched the YouTube videos but these can only tell you so much.

Take if from ACL’s top football competition, the Asian Champions League.

The equivalent to UEFA Champions League, they tweeted out a message to Celtic’s new signings that tells you exactly how highly rated the three of them are:

If UEFA had tweeted this about any of our players from their Champions League account it would have made headlines for days.

For me, this is a superb endorsement of the Hoops three new arrivals and I cannot wait to see the trio appear in a Hoops jersey for the first time.

With the league returning in less than two weeks and if crowds are allowed back at full capacity, there will surely be a full house against Hibs to welcome the three new signings.
