Quoted by Celtic View and the club’s official website, Vakoun Bayo has revealed how he wants to try and emulate Odsonne Edouard and forge a Celtic career for himself.
The Bhoys get back underway this weekend as we take on Ross County and many of our fans will be looking to see the Hoops get back to winning ways.
Odsonne Edouard will more than likely lead the line and it is clear that the likes of Vakoun Bayo won’t be in the side much whilst he is about.
That’s not deterring the young striker at the moment, though, with him looking to learn from Odsonne as much as possible right now.
“Odsonne is the number one striker and I know I have to work very hard if I want to play as the first striker.
“That will take time, just like it did with Odsonne. He also had to be patient to get his opportunities when he first arrived at Celtic.”
Clearly, he wants to learn from Edouard’s situation and then really make a career for himself at the club and hopefully he can.
He’s got real talent, it’s just that Edouard is so good at the moment that he can’t get a look in.
