It’s not too hard is it? To be balanced when reviewing Scottish football results.

It’s easy look.

Well done to Hibs on a brilliant win!

Well done Celtic on a brilliant win!

See. Easy peasy.

Well it should be unless you are Kenny McIntyre from BBC Sportsound.

As the BBC team get together to discuss the weekend results, McIntyre decided to send out a tweet to promote the show. To get us all to tune in and listen to the pundits reaction to the two big ties of the weekend.

Celtic v St Johnstone and Rangers v Hibs in the Premier Sports Cup semi finals.

Except they are not discussing the TWO of them. It seems only one is being spoken about and it is, yes you guessed it, the Rangers result.

However, for fair and balanced reporting of the weekends action they are discussing Celtic AGM, that was held five days ago.

Yeah. Balance. Of course this is balance.

One negative Rangers story. One negative Celtic story.

Balance.

What? You weren’t really expecting them to discuss Celtic reaching a major cup final only five months into Ange Postecoglou’s reign when this was supposed to be a rebuilding season now where you?

It is honestly the most blatant and obvious piece of pro Rangers promotion you are ever likely to see. Get the negativity about each others rivals in the hope it encourages both fan bases to tune in.

Shameless cowering to the blue half of Glasgow and you know what? We can see you.

But the best bit about it was this tweet coming up which just shows you how much, if any, research went into the show. Or were they just that desperate for an ex player of the old Govan mob to make an appearance on the show:

I never actually seen the game, but no surrender, what a tool, and an embarrassing program for letting him say it.
