As Celtic now look forward to league business on Sunday, I think it’s important to look back on our Champions League journey so far.

Two games down, one glorious defeat and one draw, the team are well placed to qualify from the group if they can come up with maximum points in the RB Leipzig doubleheader.

But who, for you, has impressed the most so far in this campaign?

Jota with his dazzling dribbling? Hatate with his darting runs? McGregor with his industrious work in the middle of the park?

All have performed admirably. But what if I told you that a player at Celtic is one of the top passers of the competition so far?

Or what if I told you that this player has one of the highest passing accuracy stats in the tournament as well?

Who would you pick?

O’Riley? Juranovic?

How about Moritz Jenz?

The on-loan Celtic defender is in UEFA’s top 20 players who have the most accurate passing of the group stages so far.

In joint 13th place alongside Rodri from Man City and ahead of Modric at Real Madrid, Moritz Jenz has a passing accuracy of 96%.

Out of 164 passes attempted, 158 have found their mark.

Outstanding from a central defender and not only is his accuracy better than Modric, he also leaves Bernardo Silva of Man City, Marquinhos of PSG and Marco Reus of Dortmund in his wake.

Jenz has already impressed domestically at Celtic, it now looks like he is making his mark in Europe.

Celtic hold the record for Scottish Cup wins. Can you name the players whose goals won these TEN Scottish Cup Finals? Take the quiz and challenge your friends and family.
