Boost for Celtic as Lennon issues update concerning potential exit

|

Quoted by the Scottish Sun, Neil Lennon has suggested that Liam Morrison will not be going anywhere this summer amid talk of him being of interest to Bayern Munich.

The boss is starting to shape his side with the likes of Christopher Jullien and Luca Connell coming into the side.

Certainly, though, we are hoping for more arrivals this summer to make the squad as strong as it can be.

However, we also want to keep our best players and also avoid losing our best young talent – with Morrison one of the bright young Bhoys at the club at the moment.

And, clearly, Lennon has no plans to be letting him go any time soon.

He said when asked whether he could see him going:

“That’s not going to happen.

“There is interest from Germany but Liam’s our player and we want to develop him.

“We’re not accepting any, or open to any, offers for him.”

A boost for Celtic, then, and hopefully it bodes well for other young players that we want to keep.
