Celtic fans are celebrating what will become a famous Scott Brown late winner against Kilmarnock tonight.
The 1-0 win over the Ayrshire side moves us eight points clear of our nearest challengers in the Scottish Premiership and with just 12 games remaining until the end of the season we are in an incredibly strong position.
It was a closely contested match against Steve Clarke’s outfit, who defended well for the vast majority of the match before Brown popped up with a euphoric and crucial goal.
Stand-out performers in terms of the overall display were few and far between but fans did pick out Jonny Hayes as one of the best players on the pitch.
The former Aberdeen man was starting just his fifth game of the season but following on from last week’s start against St Johnstone has emerged as quality back-up to the injured Kieran Tierney, at least when it comes to domestic action anyway.
