Celtic fans are happy Karamoko Dembele has committed himself to the England youth set-up.
The 16 year old posted on Instagram earlier this week, sharing his excitement that he will be playing with the English U16s side at international level next season.

Having also won youth caps with Scotland too, his double duty for two rival nations has previously raised some eyebrows, but it seems he’s willing to commit to the bigger country in the short-term at least.
Clearly his development is better served in the England set-up compared to Scotland’s, likely working both with better players and better coaches as he looks to make a first-team impact at Celtic Park.
He’s also English born too of course, so although he was raised north of the border, it makes obvious sense for him to represent the country of his birth.
These Celtic fans seem to think it’s the right decision, taking to Twitter to share their thoughts on the matter…
Quite right. Scotland show no direction for young players and he was born in England afterall

Who can blame him… we need to rebuild our national team from the offices out.

Good luck to him, I’m pretty sure the boy was born in England. Hopefully he’ll continue to develop like he has, Celtic will reap the rewards whether he stays or goes. Hope he stays though.
