Australian international winger Daniel Arzani has been heavily linked with a move to Celtic over the past few days and supporters appear to be very much in favour of the move.
Outlets such as The Daily Record reported that the Hoops were set to land the winger on a two-year loan deal should he make the move to Manchester City from affiliates Melbourne City this summer.
Brendan Rodgers also confirmed that he was an option the club were looking at.
Fans have seen a number of loan deals at the club in recent deals, with varying success, but tying down an exciting attacking prospect for the next two seasons seems to have excited many.
The structure of that kind of loan would give the player plenty of time to adjust to life in the Scottish Premiership and make a first-team impact, ideally in a similar fashion to Patrick Roberts, whose role in the Celtic squad he would likely replace.
Making three appearances for the Aussies at the World Cup in Russia, Arzani is tipped to have a very bright future in the game and despite limited appearances for his club has the potential to progress well in a set-up such as Celtic’s.
These supporters took to Twitter this week to share their thoughts on his potential arrival…
Like with Roberts, you’d expect young prospects (if half decent) to last two years with us before moving south. Two-year loan for Arzani is a good deal in principle. Clearly rated highly.

Brilliant signing. If we bought him we'd get 2 years out of him so the loan suits all. We still need a CB or a RB but I have faith we're working on things.

@tSHandJ Great move for Arzani if he comes up here, tough and quick football in the League then fingers crossed experience in CL Football till Xmas atleast. Rogic will help him settle and he can be under study and learn from Scotty Sinclair.
