Celtic are two points clear at the top of the table following a routine 4-0 victory against Ross County at Celtic Park.

Midfielder Tom Rogic earned them an early advantage improved by the returning Moussa Dembele close to the interval.

James Forrest then struck a brace in the second-half to extend their remarkable unbeaten domestic sequence to now fifty-five games.

Defender Jozo Simunovic had earlier seen the opening attempt before Rogic displayed sharp footwork and beat goalkeeper Aaron McCarey at his near post with a low drive.

Full-back Anthony Ralston almost had another with a distance effort onto an upright, although it still arrived courtesy of Dembele decisively finding the corner from the edge of the area.

Goalkeeper Craig Gordon was though required to superbly deny substitute Craig Curran and Michael Gardyne in quick succession after the break.

However, Stuart Armstrong then combined with Rogic and when his shot from the edge of the box was initially saved by McCarey, it was Forrest supplying the finish.

Goalscorer Forrest later cut inside to add his second of the afternoon, before substitute Scott Sinclair was twice thwarted by McCarey as the hosts chased a fifth.
