Celtic are flying at the moment and look set to be the side to catch once again in the Scottish Premiership – which is just how we want it.
Two wins from two and with twelve goals, too, we’re certainly looking good going forwards.
Naturally, though, that means some of our better players are going to be attracting interest and it seems as though James Forrest is seeing that happen right now.
According to the Scottish Sun, Russian side Zenit Saint Petersburg are readying a £12m bid for the player and also want to pay him handsomely too.
They apparently want to offer him a cool £70k-a-week, something that we, of course, cannot match.
However, are they really at the same level as us? It’s more money but they’re not exactly European giants with all due respect.
It’s a sideways move if it happens, to me, and I can imagine Forrest will be hopefully staying put and looking to keep his stay at the club going.
