The Scottish Sun has sought to go against the transfer grain in recent times with them claiming that, against other reports, Arsenal are still in the hunt for Celtic player Kieran Tierney.
Unfortunately, this is becoming the top story of our window and it is a shame because we don’t want him to go and we want to be instead signing players.
However, given his talent and potential it makes sense that he is being linked away and the report from the Scottish Sun is suggesting that Arsenal have not walked away just yet.
It had appeared as though the Gunners and the Hoops had come to an impasse concerning the structure of any potential deal but it could still be the case that we see some movement between now and the end of the summer.
Hopefully, we won’t of course, but it remains to be seen exactly what happens.
