Celtic have brought in nineteen-year-old French striker Odsonne Edouard on a season-long loan from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Scottish champions also have the option of turning the deal for the highly-rated youngster into a permanent arrangement.

“I am absolutely delighted to be joining Celtic, one of the world’s truly great football clubs, and I can’t wait to wear the famous Celtic jersey,” he told Celtic’s official website. “I am really looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and we will work hard together to bring our fans as much success as possible.”

A product of PSG’s academy, Edouard struck eight goals at the 2015 Under-17s Euros, those including a hat-trick in the final victory against Germany.

He’s yet to appear in his club’s senior team and actually had a loan stay at Ligue 1 rivals Toulouse last season, netting a single goal in seventeen games.
