Following on from the speculation yesterday surrounding Celtic’s chase of highly rated West Bromwich Albion winger, Oliver Burke, it has now been confirmed that he will spend the remainder of the 2018/19 campaign at Parkhead on a loan spell.
The 21-year-old talent has stalled in his career since leaving Nottingham Forest and he’s had disappointing spells at RB Leipzig and West Brom in recent years, but with his parent club’s gaffer Darren Moore still talking up his potential, this could be an interesting time for him as he has every opportunity to get himself fully back on track and impress on a massive stage.
With five caps for Scotland fans will know the talent he’s capable of bringing to us when he’s on song, so we just have to hope for the best.
He joins up with the squad later this week in readiness to fly out with the group and Brendan Rodgers for our winter training camp in Dubai ahead of fixtures returning.
