The Scottish Sun reported yesterday that defender Hatem Abd Elhamed has travelled with his team-mates to Romania with hopes that he might be fit to feature later on tonight.
The Hoops have got plenty of confidence going into this one after beating St Johnstone 7-0 at the weekend but this is a higher calibre opponent and we must still be wary as well.
Indeed, we have players that can harm them but defensively we need to be sound and it remains to be seen whether the recent full-back arrival has a part to play tonight.
Undoubtedly, it’s a boost for us as he is seen as a potential first-team player – why else would he have signed – and with our right-back shortage more than well publicised it’s evident that the sooner he is back the better.
Will he play from the off, though?
