Hull City youngster Jarrod Bowen’s stock continues to rise in the English Championship, as in a squad that has only scored 21 league goals in 2018/19, he’s still considered an incredible top talent for the future given his own individual performances and it could be a massive opportunity for Celtic to steal a march on others.

With six goals and three assists so far this season, Bowen looks set for a huge career in the game and he’s already attracting attention from the likes of Premier League sides Fulham and Cardiff City if the rumour mill is to be believed.

As he looks to take the next step in his career, Celtic could offer him good game time in the first team whilst he continues to develop and he could avoid being swallowed up in the way most youngsters are at Premier League clubs.

For us, his performances in the Championship show he should take to the Scottish game like a duck to water and even at a reported fee of £5million for Hull to do business, that still leaves a massive mark up in the future as the club keeps an eye on the financial side of football.

I’ve no doubt Brendan Rodgers is aware of him from his time down south as Bowen has been a hot topic for a while, and as he closes in on 100 senior appearances for Hull, his goal record stands at 21 in total and he’s yet to turn 22-year’s-old.

He was their Supporters’ and Players’ Player of the Year in 2017/18 despite his age.
