There has been a narrative building amongst the Celtic support where some seem to be suggesting that  the club should be looking investing in a new goalkeeper in the summer.

The general school of thought is that some fans, especially on social media, think that Hart is losing his golden touch between the sticks.

At just 35 years old, Hart still has at least another one, maybe two, seasons in him and what has he done wrong to warrant this talk anyway.

Ok, he is dodgy with the ball at his feet but that is not his problem. That’s the managers.

And here is the thing. The manager know this but yet still trusts him to do a job for us.

What about a replacement? Even if we did need one, we already have two able deputies at the club.

Benji Siegrist and Tobi Oluwayemi are both quality keepers in their own rite.

Make no mistake, Siegrist is an excellent keeper and I would have no qualms in the Swiss man taking over from Hart as our No 1.

And as for Oluwayemi, the nineteen year old England u19 keeper certainly has the potential to be our future man between the sticks. What he could learn from both Hart and Benji would stand him in good stead for years to come.

So panic in the goalkeeping position? Not for me.
