Celtic eye bargain arrival to address problem area this summer

|

Celtic will be looking to add to their side this summer as an air of change blows through Celtic Park under Neil Lennon.

He is going to want to shape the side into the mould he wants it but we’re also seeing a number of players leave and so that will force his hand somewhat.

Certainly, in defence we are going to need reinforcements and, according to the Scottish Sun, we are eyeing Phil Jagielka on a free.

The centre-half enjoyed a fine spell in the Premier League for Sheffield United and then mainly Everton whilst he also played for England on more than a few occasions.

Of course, he’ll not be as good as he was but he is still going to be a class short-term option that could be pivotal for next season.

He has great experience at the highest level and with him on a free it seems a bargain solution to help solve that problematic lack of defensive options we’ve got at the moment.
