Celtic have made some good additions going forwards and now we need to look at some signings for further back.
The Bhoys have brought in the likes of Timothy Weah, Vakoun Bayo and Oliver Burke but defensively we have yet to really make moves.
There are links, though, and one of them concerns a young American who goes by the name of Manny Perez.
Indeed, according to the Scotsman, Perez is one of a handful of defensive recruits we could bring into the squad this month.
A left-back, Perez has the unenviable task of battling with Kieran Tierney for game-time but it is good to see we are giving him a chance if he is good enough.
Indeed, we seem keen on him and pushing KT to even greater things might not be such a bad idea given the immense quality he has.
We’ll soon see if Perez is the latest to join our ranks this month.
