Celtic have been drawn against Astana in their Champions League play-off.

The Hoops are already familiar with the Kazakh outfit having defeated them in last season’s third qualifying round.

“We know what it’s like – the hotel, the astroturf, it’s virtually the same managers and players,” manager Brendan Rodgers told BBC Scotland. “It will be as tough as last year but we look forward to it and will be ready for it.”

The first-leg is on 16th August and the return six days later.

The Scottish champions progressed by defeating Rosenborg 1-0 in their second-leg qualifier on Wednesday.
