Celtic Fans Debate Potential Defensive Addition

There’s been growing speculation recently that we’re in the market for a new centre-half ahead of the summer window opening.
Certainly, that is something I think many of us all agree we need after this season and it’ll be interesting to see what kind of player Brendan Rodgers goes for.
According to Football Insider, then, we’re looking at Thomas Isherwood and Celtic Bible has also suggested that those reports are doing the rounds in Germany too:

Boyata is a liability and needs to go in the summer along with Jozo and Erik! Need a commanding CB thats good in the air and can dominate from cross balls. Ajer has a big future ahead of him imo, fantastic at bringing the ball out from defence. Only 1 with pass marks yesterday

The Verdict
It would certainly be a risk going after a player who is relatively unproven in any division let alone ours but I will remain open to the idea if he joins.
Personally, I’d like a commanding centre-half to come in with him having plenty of experience but I do appreciate we have a budget to work too.
Put it this way, though, I don’t think Isherwood can be our only defensive arrival.
