This has been a debate I’ve seen on many Celtic groups and pages.

And personally, although it is a good talking point, I can’t see why we just can’t do both.

Carter-Vickers or Jota.

If you had to pick one, which would it be?

Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, pundit Gordon Dalziel made his choice and it is one that, I think, many Celtic fans would agree with, Carter-Vickers and Jota, if I had to pick one, and Celtic fans will probably disagree with this and I can understand that, I will be going for Carter-Vickers.

“Although every Celtic fan wants the two of them tied up. I think Jota is a fantastic player but what Carter Vickers has brought to the defence is so, so important.

“Because it allows a middle of the park and the front men to go and do their business, go and score the goals, go and be the heroes.

“Carter Vickers sits in there, organises, he has grown and is becoming a better player every time I see him.

“He’s got good season under his belt now. He’ll only get better next year. I think that’s a fantastic business.”

Me? I say take them both. We can afford it.

If I was really pushed and had to pick one, it would be CCV. No question.

But lets just get both done Celtic.

Dalziel can’t possibly think any respectful person listens to him!
He was part of the corruption in Govan as a player when the old club went under due to their theft as every other club in the country suffered as a result of the favouritism afforded the old club when they died!
He used the same corrupt methods to push the successful Kevin McBride out of his job with Airdrie, and all because of McBride’s past with Celtic.
