There seems to have been a shift in the transfer focus in recent days at Celtic and you can understand why that is.

Across the pitch we needed to bring in new faces and so far in this window we have seen the likes of Timothy Weah and Oliver Burke join the club.

Attack looks sorted for now, then, and the Bhoys appear to be concentrating on what they can do to liven and refresh the defence at this point.

Indeed, we need to find a successor for Mikael Lustig sooner rather than later with the Swede getting towards the end of his career and it seems as though we have one in mind.

According to the Express, Omar Elabdellaoui is a player the Bhoys are looking at as our new right-back potentially.
