Leaders Celtic are looking for a serious improvement when travelling to troubled Hearts on Wednesday.

“There’s always a wee bit of electricity in the air” – Neil Lennon

A surprise weekend home defeat to Inverness Caledonian Thistle means the champions have managed only one point out of their last three home games. Even so they still top the table with a point and game in hand on their closest challengers.

Defender Charlie Mulgrew (virus) and midfielder Paddy McCourt (knock) are both doubtful for the game, although centre-back Kelvin Wilson is back in contention having recovered from flu. Skipper Scott Brown is similarly included in the squad.

“I’m looking for a positive reaction and it’ll be a good atmosphere – it always is at Tynecastle,” Celtic manager Neil Lennon told BBC Scotland. “There’s always a wee bit of electricity in the air. It’s a great game to get our teeth into.”

Hearts are missing defender Danny Grainger (cruciate ligament) while fellow full-back Jamie Hamill is also out.
