As reported by Football Insider, Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama is apparently keen on signing for Celtic in the January transfer window in what would be an interesting move.
The powerful centre-midfielder was at Celtic a few years ago when he burst onto the scene in this country and that eventually saw him join the likes of Southampton and then Tottenham.
He’s fallen down the pecking order at Spurs, though, and it is clear that he needs to be playing elsewhere with the talent that he has got in the middle of the park.
He’d add real drive and force to our side, then, but one thing we’re going to have to think about the financial side as his wages are going to be far bigger than they were when he was at the club the first time.
Even so, if we can get the player back to the Hoops that’ll be a big statement.
