As per the Scotsman, Celtic are receiving close to £7m as they reflect on a good start to the season in all competitions.

Of course, it’s obvious that the Champions League campaign did not go to plan against CFR Cluj but we have the chance for real retribution with us getting them in the Europa League group stages.

And, indeed, our progress to this point in the competition has given us a financial helping hand with the report saying that thanks to making it through qualification – albeit in the Champions League – and making it into the groups, we’ve now been given a cash boost.

Certainly, it’s decent money for our club and it’s also important if we want to keep ourselves on top of the domestic scene.

We showed last weekend we’re still the side to beat in this country but we cannot rest on our laurels and progress like this should ensure that that is exactly what doesn’t happen.

  • Let’s go Celts, keep up the good work. Keep sevco firmly behind us, where they belong. And we may not have to wait long to have them out of our back(not face)! As the fellow from Newcastle gets into them for “shirt” money, they could and I hope they go down the swannie!! What you might call, ” up the creek without a paddle”.!! But sevco have been doing that for years!! Hail Hail.

  • just do your best celtic ,last season has gone, now we go to do the same this season ,and what is that, just do your best, scottish champions, scottish cup scottish leauge cup,get it.the rest is a bonus.
