Quoted by the Scottish Sun, Neil Lennon has revealed that Jozo Simunovic is going to have to see a specialist to deal with his injury.
The defender has suffered a knock – like many of our defenders – but he looks set to be out for more than most with him needing to be referred to an expert on his injury.
As quoted by the Sun, Lennon revealed:
“We will need to send Jozo to a specialist.”
It’s certainly a blow for the Hoops given the options we have at centre-half and the fact that several of them have already suffered injury problems.
Christian Jullien looks rather strong but Kris Ajer has suffered and Nir Bitton has even picked up a knock with him filling in there in recent times.
We could do with Simunovic returning sooner rather than later but that seems unlikely at the moment and it is now up to the specialist to do their work and hopefully get him on track as soon as.
