Celtic take on St Mirren this evening as they look for another big three points in this very tight title race right now.
The Hoops have started this season well and now we’re getting into the middle section of the season, where things are set up – hopefully – for trophy wins.
Indeed, we’ve got a shot at our first bit of silverware coming up providing we win the semi-final at the weekend, but first we must take care of St Mirren.
And, that in mind, Neil Lennon is bound to be aiming to name a strong side.
One man who won’t feature is Leigh Griffiths but, fortunately, he seems set to be back in training before too long to boost the squad.
Quoted by the Scottish Sun, Neil Lennon revealed:
“Leigh is back on the grass now. He has been doing some physical work with the fitness coaches and we hope he starts training again on Thursday.”
This is obviously good news.
Odsonne is the main striker these days but having someone like Griff available to come in and help things along is certainly ideal.
