Celtic get key injury updates

|

We’re really starting to get towards the new league season now with a round of Champions League qualifiers out of the way and, of course, friendlies being played too.

We’re continuing in Europe at the moment after a good win over FK Sarajevo and our next obstacle is Estonian side Nomme Kalju who, like many of us, I could not tell you anything about.

Even so, the Hoops must plan accordingly and go for them at full throttle next week with it looking likely that we’re set to have a fairly fit squad for the clash.

Indeed, speaking after the game on Wednesday night, Neil Lennon has revealed that he hopes to have three players fit for the second leg at least against the Estonian side.

Quoted by the Scottish Sun, he reflected on the win over the Bosnians and then looked ahead:

“There will be a few bumps and bruises tomorrow but hopefully nothing significant. We should also have Mikey back for the second leg hopefully as well as maybe (Marian) Shved and (Vakoun) Bayo.”

Some good news, then, and hopefully we won’t pick up any other knocks as we look ahead to more European football.
