Quoted by El Comercio, Jose Cifuentes has said that he is open to a move this summer and that could come as a boost to Celtic in this window.
The Bhoys have gradually started to make signings this market and it is exciting to see us linked with more names as we approach the last few weeks of pre-season.
Certainly, the squad still needs some more work and Cifuentes could be a part of things with him wanting to leave apparently and the Scottish Sun suggesting that he is a target of ours this summer.
What might make it tough for us, though, is that Manchester City are also apparently keen on the player – as per the same report – and so it could be a case of us trying to guarantee him first-team football that persuades him.
City have the money, of course, but perhaps we can show him the better opportunity lies with us…
