Celtic’s season kicks off in earnest later on today as the Bhoys head to Bosnia to take on FK Sarajevo in the first-leg of the latest qualifying round in the Champions League.

Realistically, over two legs we should be winning this tie but it is early on in the season – very early – and we know that sometimes the away legs, in particular, can provide a banana skin or two.

Even so, Neil Lennon and the Hoops have Champions League football to use as a motivation to get past any complacency or tiredness and so we should really come through unscathed.

We have got a potential boost on the way for the second leg, though, and that is in the form of a recovering Vakoun Bayo.

The striker has got a slight hamstring issue at the moment but, as per the Scottish Sun, he could be back in time for the second leg.

We should, hopefully though, get by without him anyway.
