According to the Daily Mail, Celtic are taking a look at £3m-rated ace Bali Mbombo this summer as they prepare in case of a Kieran Tierney exit.
The Scottish international is a class player and there are fears that he could move away with there being interest in him again this summer.
It would be silly to not plan for his departure, then, and it appears that the Rapid Vienna left-back Mbombo is on our list of apparent alternatives to Tierney.
Of course, losing KT would be a big blow and a real tough act to follow for whoever came in.
Mbombo is experienced enough at a good level, though, and possesses very powerful running from that left-back area, so that in a couple of aspects is a positive sign.
At the moment, though, everything seems to be in a holding pattern whilst we wait to see what is going to happen with our current left-sided defender.
