Celtic hopes for attacker deal seem over

|

According to the Sun on Sunday, via the Daily Star, Neil Lennon is to abandon plans to try and sign Aaron Connolly from Brighton on loan in the January window after he excelled in their recent Premier League game with Tottenham.

The young attacker might well have felt that he wasn’t going to play much for the Seagulls this season and Hoops boss Lennon evidently felt the same with him reportedly plotting a temporary deal for him.

However, after he bagged a brace in an impressive win over Tottenham before the international break, it seems as though he is going to be staying around there this season, and Lennon has accepted that.

With the race for the title looking tighter than it has been for some time, we need to ensure our squad is fully capable of challenging, and it would be no surprise if Lennon did add in the next window.
