Celtic in race for attacker but face competition from multiple sides

|

According to the Express, Celtic are hoping to complete the loan signing of Jordon Ibe before the end of the transfer window but they face competition from some big European clubs.

The attacker is currently at AFC Bournemouth after they signed him from Liverpool but he has fallen down the pecking order with the likes of David Brooks and Scottish international Ryan Fraser in ahead of him.

Ibe might want to move away, then, and the report suggests that Celtic are hoping to get a loan deal sorted, after being put off by the Cherries’ asking price for a potential permanent deal.

The Hoops, however, might not have it easy with Fiorentina and Napoli from Italy apparently looking at him according to the report as well as Turkish side Galatasaray.

We’ve got under two weeks to try and get it sorted, meanwhile, and so it remains to be seen just whether or not we can do so.
