The club has always been aware of its duties away from the football pitch and once again it looks as though the Bhoys are going to nail things.
There’s many, many reasons why we all support the club the way we do but the main thing, to me at least, is the sense of togetherness you get with the Hoops.
It’s an attribute that has run through the history of the club and that’s why it’s come as no surprise to me that as a club we’re backing the Football Welcomes refugee initiative.
It aims to help those in the likes of Syria who have been made homeless and left with nothing thanks to war and external factors out of their control:

There’s been some reaction to this, too, and, though most have been positive, some also have had other things to say.
Let’s see what the response has been like…

If you don’t like this your not welcome at our club!

Any trump supporter in general shouldn't be welcome at our club, trump supporters support oppression

The Verdict
As pointed out in the tweets, this is an issue close to the heart of our club and it’s only right that we lend a hand in any way we can.
We can’t simply forget our roots and nor will we, so I personally am pleased to see that the club has taken this step forward.
Thoughts, Bhoys? Let me know!
