According to the Express, Celtic are looking at Max Lowe as a potential replacement for Kieran Tierney.

The defender had a frustrating year at the Bhoys last season with injury but is still one of our best players and one we do not want to lose any time soon.

Certainly, though, with the report highlighting Arsenal’s interest we need a back-up plan and it seems as though Lowe is potentially that man.

Lowe is already familiar to the league with him spending time on loan at Aberdeen in recent months and he played pretty regularly there.

Replacing KT would be no mean feat, though, and if he did sign for the Hoops he’d surely have to hit the ground running.

The report suggests both Aberdeen and Rangers are keen on the player for next season, too, but surely, with us being able to boast Champions League football, we’d be able to tempt him to sign?
